That's the Empire State Building toward the right side, in the distance. Rosemary was more interested in the trike on someone's private deck down below. She said, hopefully, "We could go down there." Yes, we wish!

Bonus Roofdeck!
Would you look at that! Turns out we have a Manhattan-facing roof deck in our building. Well, we knew it was here somewhere (since every real estate ad for apartments for sale touts it, in capital letters, PANORAMIC VIEWS OF NEW YORK CITY), but hadn't taken the time to locate it until recently. We're not lazy, honest, just distracted. Anyhow, last night we enjoyed a brief visit after the steamy day cooled off.
Shipping cranes up close and Lower Manhattan just a little further away:
