On Second Thought

A couple of days ago I asked Rosie whether she thought she might ever like to walk by herself.   She gave it a moment of consideration and then answered, "Nooooo." And then shook her head for emphasis. But today she seems to have reconsidered. This is from this morning:

Also this week, she has grown passionate about Corduroy, who she calls Coogalie. Her favorite parts are the "pop" of the button flying off the bed and pointing out Corduroy's two fuzzy ears when they stick out of his hiding spot. She also likes to do "cheers" with drinks or, more often, with food when you are eating the same thing as she is. But you have to look sharp, because if she likes the food and it is something small, like grapes, she will hold hers with pointer and thumb and then try to nab yours with the other three fingers, all the while cleverly maintaining eye contact with you.
